The project Moda.Ru was started in 1996. Moda.Ru - was one of the first Russian Internet Project's about fashion. Later an English version of the site was created - Fashion.ru.

The originator of the project, Anton Alfer, collected the information about fashion, style and beauty during several years. In the beginning, the project was thought of as an online fashion magazine, and then it became a well-known portal about Russian as well as International style.

In the beginning of 2000, we made a strategic decision: a contract for cooperation and joint development of the portal with Design Studio ArtStyle was made.

New site design, navigation and programming software were developed as well as establishing a progress concept and developments on the Internet as well as offline side of things.

The hard and lengthy work has justified our hopes of success.

The company's experts were actually the people, who turned the dream in to reality.

During several months in the middle of 2000 we worked further to improve the web site, following further investment into our group by a UK internet company.

What can be seen now on pages of Moda.Ru and Fashion.Ru, are the fruits of our team's persevering work. Today on Moda.Ru you will find the latest fashion news, the hottest trends, new beautiful faces, information about boutiques, beauty salons, shopping centers, fashion houses and much, much more. The catalogue is daily updated by the portal's visitors.

Anyone who wishes to publish articles about fashionable events or fashion shows can do so, anyone can also create a site with a free second level domain name (your_name.moda.ru) or it is also possible to get a more prestige address for your site, or create a business card for your company or organizations, add different sites to the catalogue of fashionable resources completely free-of-charge, and also to create modeling portfolios in the models section.
